EGL Architecture, PC is a full service architectural firm founded in September 2000. We are dedicated to residential and commercial new construction and renovation, with a specialty in fire-restoration. We provide a direct involvement and a personal approach through the design process. According to the project's needs, we are involved in all stages of the project from conception to completion.
The Principal, Emma Gonzalez-Laders, has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Pontifical University Catholic Mother and Mentor*, in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Having an international background gives us a broader perspective in terms of design solutions and styles.
Emma is licensed to practice architecture in New York State, and prior to founding EGL Architecture, she had 9 years of experience in the field. Her experience encompasses a wide range of projects including residential construction and alteration, retail spaces, restaurants, churches, and day care centers.
EGL Architecture is an Ally Designer with the New York Energy $mart Small Commercial Lighting Program and a proud sponsor of the Adopt-A-Highway program in the Town of Goshen. We are certified MWBE (Minority, Women-owned Business Enterprise) by Empire State Development and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. We are also registered with CCR (Central Contractor Registration), OGS (Office of General Services), HVMPG (Hudson Valley Municipal Purchasing Group), and ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application).
